Hmm, I feel slightly let down by the Almeida as the plays there are normally bankers. This was a little frustrating. It felt dated and more than a little contrived.
None of the characters were likeable and the plot felt clumsy and intended to shock.
Dinner at Le Mercury was good beforehand although pork belly made me sleepy and lethargic. The play certainly woke me up but I left feeling unfulfilled at the crassness and clumsiness of it all.
